January 27 at 8:45 pm - 9:45 pm ESTFree Funded by Microsoft
Online learning is just one of the many things you’re trying to juggle.
You were already busy, and now that you are the teacher, tech-support and parent, it’s exhausting.
Technology for online learning doesn’t need to be complicated.
Let us help you get rid of the fear and frustration of at-home learning with a workshop just for you: families of virtual learners.
Through video calls in Microsoft Teams, you’re able to quickly get online, learning synchronously, and giving you an easy win of the day!
Inside this 60-minute workshop, we’ll help you:
- Find out how to join your child’s video call
- Know how to navigate a video call in Microsoft Teams
- Learn our top troubleshooting tips for when nothing seems to be going right
- Understand the different ways your learner may be participating (raising their virtual hand, sending messages in the chat, joining a breakout room, etc.)
This workshop is designed for families who are new to video calls inside Microsoft Teams or who would like a refresher on how to use this tool for online learning.
Thank you Microsoft Education Canada for making this workshop free for all families!
