Algorithms and Sequences – Oh My! A Math Co-Taught Lesson
April 11 at 9:00 am - 10:00 am EDT
FreeSMART
Are you ready to explore the world of algorithms and sequences?
Inside this Lumio lesson, we’ll dive into how computers use algorithms and sequences to complete tasks you tell them to do! Students will have the ability to identify a function of a computer, and then create the algorithm and sequence that would perform that task. Now that we can talk it out, we’ll explore how these algorithms and sequences work inside math!
Inside this 60-minute co-taught lesson for Grade 4 to Grade 6 classrooms, you and your students will explore algorithms and sequences using a lesson inside Lumio by SMART (formerly known as SMART Learning Suite Online).
Please note: As this lesson is using the live collaboration tool inside Lumio, a replay of the lesson will not be available.
Each student is encouraged to have their own device, connected to the internet, to participate in this Lumio lesson. No other prep or setup is required prior to the lesson.
