Your course has content youHAVEto cover.
An online lecture isn’t going to work; you’ll have muted mics and turned off cameras before class even begins.
Let us show you how to create engaging, hands-on virtual learning for your content-heavy course without reinventing the wheel!
Use the slide decks and resources you already have – no recreating!
Inside this 60-minute workshop, we’ll look at how you can simply take your current resources and transform them quickly and easily into an interactive online lecture.
We’ll explore how to use Pear Deck and Microsoft Teams to create online lectures that will have your students interacting with your subject content along the way.
We’ve designed this workshop specifically for educators teaching Grade 7 to Grade 12 courses who have content to get through by the end of their semester.
You’ll leave this workshop with 5 simple steps on how to create an interactive online lecture with Pear Deck for your next lesson, best practices on managing student responses, and how your next lesson will seamlessly integrate inside your Microsoft Teams learning environment!
Of course! This strategy can be used with or without Microsoft Teams. A Pear Deck lessons can be shared inside Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, any other LMS or via a link (no LMS required)!
While these workshops will be specifically referring to Grade 7 to Grade 12 classrooms, this strategy can be used with learners of all age groups – you just may need to scaffold to meet the needs of your class.
Thank you Microsoft Canada for funding this lesson so it can be FREE for all classrooms!
