Tell an Emoji Story with Google’s Applied Digital Skills – Co-Taught Lesson

September 9, 2021 at 9:30 am - 10:30 am EDT

Free Funded by Google Canada

It’s time to let your favourite emoji’s do all the talking!  Create an emoji story alongside Canadian Googlers  with this back-to-school kick off lesson with your class.

Grade 4 to Grade 8 classes are invited to join us for this hands-on, 60-minute co-taught lesson where we’ll use our Google Workplace tools to create an emoji story with Applied Digital Skills.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many words can you showcase with just emojis?  These useful icons can help you to create a fun story.  Join our team and a few Canadian Googlers as we explore this new form of literacy.

Each student is encouraged to have access to a device (Chromebooks, or other laptops are encouraged) and the internet for this lesson on Thursday, September 9th at 9:30am EDT.  Learn more about what a co-taught lesson is by clicking here.

Thank you to Google Canada for making this lesson free for all classrooms!
