Artificial Intelligence and Scratch – Co-Taught Lesson

February 27 at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm EST

$20.00

Looking to demystify Artificial Intelligence(AI) in your classroom?

Join us on February 27th at 1:30pm EST | 10:30am PST for a co-taught lesson in partnership with Coding and More.

Learn more about what AI is, debug some of the myths surrounding it and get insight into how it learns from data!

In this 60-minute lesson, your grade 4 to 6 class will use Scratch to train their own AI to distinguish between two different objects!  Google’s Teachable Machine helps us do this! Teachable Machine is a web-based tool that makes creating machine learning models fast and easy.  We’ll be using Teachable Machine to train our computers to recognize images then we’ll use that model inside our Scratch program.

Important Note: It is recommended that students have a Scratch MIT account (not Scratch for CS First). However, even without an account, students will be able to download their work locally.  Students must also have access to a Chromebook, laptop or desktop and access to the internet.
