Support Student Presentations with Speaker Coach

Did you know that 80% of people get butterflies, get anxious, and don’t sleep much the night before they need to speak in public? (Forbes) And this stat is no different than the populations found in our classrooms.

It’s scary and stressful for a lot of our students to present in front of their peers. Fears of saying the wrong thing, missing a cue, messing up or making a fool of themselves are all amplifiers to the anxiety many find when asked to give a presentation in front of the class.

Speaker Coach helps to reduce student anxiety and worry by supporting student presentation skills while they practice in private.

Speaker Coach checks pacing, pitch, use of filler words, informal speech, and euphemisms. It also detects when you’re being overly wordy or are simply reading the text on a slide!

Our 60-minute workshop, all about Speaker Coach, walks you through exactly how to set it up all the way to reading the feedback it creates.  We also share how you and your students can use this tool inside your class to build confidence for those asked to speak in front of others.

*Please note, throughout the workshop below, you will hear Speaker Coach referred to as Presenter Coach.  It’s the same tool, just with an updated name!
