Back to School with Microsoft Education

Microsoft Educator Academy with The Cobblestone Collective

Discover best practices for your classroom this year while earning your certification!

Join one of three exclusive cohorts (for FREE) and make getting ready for back to school easy!  You’ll get hands-on experience with the tools, time to get your questions answered by our facilitators, and an opportunity to network with other educators across Canada.

Inside this workshop series, you’ll explore tips and tricks for supporting every learner in your classroom, best practices for keeping organized digitally, new features of your favourite Microsoft Tools, and how OneNote can help to make learning more powerful and dynamic.

Each cohort will share strategies and ideas for Grade 4 to Grade 12 educators, as well as coaches, librarians, educational assistants and school leadership.  Whether you’re working with students in-person or virtually, there are strategies inside this series for you.

You’ll also unlock the Microsoft Educator certification badge after completing this workshop cohort.

Your Learning Pathway

Tools &

Organization

Microsoft Teams is for more than just video calls.  We will explore how Teams can keep you and your students organized and ready to learn throughout the year.  We’ll also explore some of the new features of your favourite tools, like PowerPoint!

Inclusive

Learning

Microsoft Education is here to support every learner in your classroom through a variety of ways to customize their experience with each tool.  We’ll try out and explore the accessibility features inside a variety of tools which will empower your students to utilize tools to unlock their full potential.

The power of

Onenote

Whether it’s collecting research, practicing solving equations or creating a presentation, Microsoft OneNote is an epic tool for your school year.  We’ll close out our cohort by working inside OneNote and exploring how this tool can be used for all students (and even the educator too)!

Select your cohort

We’ve curated three cohorts for you to choose from.  Each cohort is open to all educators (of both grade and experience level).  Workshops will not be recorded; participants are required to attend each workshop during the scheduled time.  Space is limited inside each cohort.
