Get Coding with CS First
In Partnership with Code with Google & the CS First Team

Let's get coding!
The Cobblestone Collective has partnered with the CS First Team to bring you a simple and easy way to start coding with your class. Our team of current and former educators will be with you every step of the way.
Learning to code, together
Together, through teacher PD sessions and co-taught lessons, we’re here to help you and your students learn to problem-solve, collaborate, communicate and think critically through computer science.
Oh, and did we mention, they’re all FREE?!
What is a 'co-taught lesson?'
Think of us as your virtual guest speaker.
Our facilitation team handles the lesson planning and delivery of the lesson (through YouTube Live) with you and your students together.
Each CS First co-taught lesson explores a new unit from of the CS First curriculum.
No experience teaching coding? Unsure how to facilitate a lesson using CS First? That’s why we’re here! Consider us your coding experts for the hour where you and your students can both learn together.

Your Schedule of Learning
Register for one, or register for all! Click the button below to find out more information about each workshop or co-taught lesson.
That's not all!
We’re back for Computer Science Education Week and teaming up with Google Software Developers to bring you three days of coding!
Join us from December 6th to 8th for a new coding challenge inside CS First each day!
Thank you to Code with Google and the CS First Team for making these workshops and co-taught lessons free for all classrooms!

You've got questions, we've got answers
Yes! For the best experience, we suggest that each student has their own device, connected to the internet for the duration of the lesson.
Chromebooks, or other laptops, are preferred for the best user experience.
Nope – that would be a lot of work and we’re all about saving you time!
Please just register the educators of your class (teacher, EA, support staff, etc.)
Please do not register your students.
Nothing! We want to keep all student information private and will never ask you to share it with us.
During the livestream lesson, we’ll be using an interactive form. The form only has two questions:
- Your first name (or your teacher’s name – and optional!)
- Your answer to the question asked
This allows us to interact with your class, while keeping their personal information safe.
You sure can! We’ll be sharing how to create your own account to use CS First during the Educator workshop on September 27th. We’ll also send you information prior to your co-taught lesson to help you get all set up.
By signing up for the Teacher Workshop on September 27th you’ll receive all the information you’ll need!
Prior to each co-taught lesson, you’ll receive an email from us letting you know what CS First curriculum to assign to your class.
