Are You Ready to Escape for the Summer?
A Day of Digital Escape Rooms with Microsoft for Education
Join us on June 25th, 2021 for a full day of digital escape rooms! Students will use their critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills to escape various scenarios to successfully make it to summer!
There are two paths of digital escape rooms:
- Grade 4-6
- Grade 7-10
Will you and your class be able to escape?
Four Different Escape Rooms
Each digital escape room focuses on a different subject area, all requiring 21st century learning skills to successfully escape!
9:00 am – 10:00 am EDT – Escape: Math
10:30 am – 11:30 am EDT – Escape: Language Arts
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT – Escape: Science
1:30 pm – 2:30 pm EDT – Escape: Social Studies
**All digital escape room lessons will be recorded, so you can discover them with your class at an alternative time.
Throughout the 60 minutes, your lesson guides will share clues and hints to help you escape to Summer!
Your questions answered:
It’s Free! This day of digital escape rooms is funded by Microsoft Canada. Thank you!
Nope – that would be a lot of work and we’re all about saving you time!
Please just register the educators of your class (teacher, EA, support staff, etc.)
Please do not register your students.
YES! We know things change quickly in the world of educators (especially when we are broadcasting across all time zones), so all of our co-taught lessons are recorded.
Sign up for the live lessons and you’ll receive the recordings after the lesson takes place.
Best part? You can use the recorded lesson anytime that works for you!
Of course! If you have a student who is in Grade 4 to 10, please register on their behalf. You’ll receive all the joining information and you can share that with your student/child.
If you are a student, please find a guardian over the age of 18 to register you for this great day of learning.
During the livestream lesson, we’ll be using an interactive form. The form only has two questions:
- Your first name (or your teacher’s name – and optional!)
- Your answer to the question asked
This allows us to interact with your class, while keeping their personal information safe.
Each student should have:
- Access to a device
- Access to O365 (required for some digital escape rooms)
- Access to the internet
- Headphones are also encouraged!
